Our Testimonials
Some of things our customers say about us.
Case Study
BPL
The hospital consultants wanted to use competitor recombinant coagulation factors, partly for profitability reasons. We helped the client communicate with commissioners and budget managers to change practice through cost pressures. This led to a request for orders larger than the company could supply. This is one of many projects we carried out for BPL over 12 years.

Viropharma
We commenced work with Viropharma when they were new to the UK and EU and setting up the infrastructure for these markets. We screened product opportunities and helped them identify products to in-license and prioritised markets for those products across the EU. We then provided a “wrap around” service to provide outsourced support for the absent local expertise and structural elements while enabling them to grow and become more self-sufficient. They recruited some internal staff, reducing their requirement for outsourcing at a manageable pace until finally, they made a successful exit, selling out to Shire in 2014. We managed the launches of 2 of their first products and assisted with other launches.
We provided outsourced market access, P&R, manufacture and quality assurance support, logistics and supply chain support and critical path management through coordination with their internal resources. We jointly presented these highly successful launches at various international market access conferences, enhancing the profile of Viropharma as a desirable commercial partner and target for acquisition. Their first product, Buccolam (oromucosal solution), three months post UK launch had been included on 70% of formularies across England, with local guidance updated and implemented. Epilepsy Nurse training was developed and delivered by our HCPs, resulting in accelerated achievement of sales growth. The product rapidly overtook sales of the existing buccal midazolam to gain majority market share while commanding a profitable price.

NHS Insights
BPL wanted to improve their understanding on the changing NHS and implications for their business. We provided a series of training days to board, management and sales and marketing. New strategies and ways of working were agreed and implemented. This led to winning new contracts and influencing policy on treatment of relevant haematological diseases. BPL also retained us to assist with investigating global markets for various therapies.

Product acquisition
The client wants to expand their product portfolio through sales and marketing agreements and in-licensing and asked us to search for opportunities. Their priority was to add substance to the business case for retaining the existing sales force. We identified a product which fit the portfolio well and was available for promotion. Our client grew sales by 65% during the first year of that agreement, giving a satisfactory outcome for all concerned. The client has since asked us to provide further opportunities.
